This is significant because I acquired this patch on February 11, 1993 from a coworker who was also a patch collector, and she had gotten it at a "patch show" the previous weekend. That means that Hollywood PD appears to have used the same design for almost 25 years! I'm finding longevity in design to be rather rare.

Additionally, as we're about to see in the coming few patches, this design is popular.
